I kinda feel this project is losing momentum here- uptill now I see no one really patched the code since the 1.0.0 BETA, while there are couple major issues:

1. Still not compiled with dnn 4.0.x

2. Quite a lot of glitches (e.g. Object reference not found on doing a lot of different activities, such as deleting a category.)

3. Order History missing- only the order number is found, but the order detail are not browsable.

I hope project leader can give us some enlightment on this- even the main page last post is already Feb.

It does look like it's losing steam, although I feel like DNN as a whole has been losing steam lately.  I've been wondering if it isn't a failure of the approach to open source, i.e. closed teams, no public source repository.  It's their chosen model, but I've got some experience with other OSS projects, and when I got stalled, other people picked up where I stopped and ran with it.

If the team members get busy with other projects, the associated DNN work stalls, where in the more open model other people can pick up, submit patches to work in progress, etc.

For instance, I'd love to work on this, but my workload isn't going to ease up for another month or so.  However, when I could work on it, I'd have no access to the current code that they were working on when they stalled.

Actually the 1.0.1 version has been completed for several weeks, however we are still waiting for final signoff from the platinum benefactors/testers before releasing it.  Sorry for the delay, but I would rather have solid, functional, and stable releases than quick and reckless releases.

Best Regards,

Do we have a time in our mind on when the 1.1 release may occur?

and I would have to say to the comment on dotnetnuke losing steam that it isn't true. First, I have been working with Portal systems for some time.   I am an Anti open source guy, but have been sucked in by the HUGE array of companies that are building skins, applications etc for DNN and have purchased a number of them and used a number of free add ons.  The product is so wide spread I'm shocked.

1. This means nothing. Not a single project at this time is compiled against 4.x because nobody wants to support two code bases for a module project when one runs in the other just fine.
