Hi guys, I will be adding a custom based payment-gateway (Official Payment Gateway) to the existing store module. For that I have followed the below steps:
Installed DotNetNuke-5.1.4
Installed Store Module 3.0 (Zip file) using Add Module from DotNetNuke, so that it adds source code to our project directory and creates tables in database.

Now I am trying to modify store module inorder to accomodate a customized payment gateway. So my query would be; how to create a package for the customized store module so that I can install this module in another project.

Your suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Raj,

First, please read this post to install the source version of the Store module. You need to have a strong knowledge of C#, .Net and DNN developement to be able to modify the Store module.

If you don't modify the core of the module, you can create a standard package and install it after the Store module. You will find instructions in the Wiki to create a package for any module. If you want to distribute your payment provider at the same time than installing the Store module, you have to edit the manifest file of the module. When you build the solution, each project execute some post build comands to move required files in the folder Store_02.00.00_Install (Install package) and Store_02.00.00_Source (source package).

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
