Hello there,

Running Store 3.0.0 on DotNetNuke 5.6.2. A customer orders an item and pays it using paypal, he receives the normal emails, but keeps receiving the payment confirmation email every few minutes. In the site logs I have:

I have found the paypal IPN failing because of Active Directory. Since I don't use it, I have just unistalled it.

Hi Daniel,

Could you specify if both (DNN and Store) was a fresh install or an update? When you talk about Active Directory, is it the AD provider? If yes, could you specify if the provider was just installed or installed and enabled?

Thanks,

Gilles

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hello Gilles,

Both DontetNuke and the store modules were upgrages. It is too late to double check, but I am almost sure it was installed and activated by mistake. Paypal was receiving a 500 http error on the ipn because of that.

I don't know if it helps you, but here is the other stuff I had in the event logs that gave me the idea of uninstalling active directory:

AssemblyVersion: 5.6.2
PortalID: 4
PortalName: Permalook
UserID: -1
UserName:
ActiveTabID: 156
ActiveTabName: Accueil
RawURL: /Default.aspx
AbsoluteURL: /Default.aspx

UserAgent:
DefaultDataProvider: DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider
ExceptionGUID: ae608c2c-cb63-4cb8-ba25-66b47b7b24e4
InnerException: Unhandled Error:
FileName:
FileLineNumber: 0
FileColumnNumber: 0
Method: DotNetNuke.Authentication.ActiveDirectory.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule.OnAuthenticateRequest
StackTrace:

Thanks for checking on that issue, it feels good see some great developement on the store module. By the way do you know of anyone working on other tax and shipping providers? That's all that is missing to this module to make it perfect for small budget online stores.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the informations, this could help someone! :-)

What do you need in the tax and shipping providers? It's the right place to make feature request!
