Thank to the team for this module. I'm using v3 on DNN 5.6.2 and it works great.

Can anyone suggest how I can modify the link "Return to Category" in the ProductDetail?

Hi Peter,

Could you specify what you want to change, the text 'Return to Category' or the action?
If you want to personalize the Store design, please read the Templating Guide available at Codeplex. A lot of things can be done with pure HTML and tokens.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I wanted to change it to "Return to Store" - I found the "ProductList.ascx" and changed it there but it didn't work. I read through the template guide but could not figure out how to change the text inside a <href> tag from css. - Don't think its possible?

Like wise I wanted to change the Tool Tip for Buy Now button to "Order Now" - I don't think that can be done either in this version?

Your views?

Hi Peter,

It look you are new to DNN! ;-) All modules and at least the core modules are localizable. This allow you to translate a module AND to change/adapt all strings used by a module and by DNN. In the chapter 8 of the Templating Guide, you missed the paragraph 'Accessing resource files':

Login to your website as host or admin, then select Admin > Languages. In the array of cultures, the right-hand column ‘Static Resources’ contains three pencils ‘System’, ‘Host’ and ‘Site’ for each culture. Click on the ‘System’ pencil for the desired culture row to edit. On the Language Editor page, expand the tree in the left column ‘Resources’: Local Resources > DesktopModules > Store > Providers > GatewayProviders > providernameProvider, where providername is the gateway provider name used by your store.

This is to change the email templates, but it's same to change any text only the resource file location is different. The string your search (Return to Category) is inside Local Resources > DesktopModules > Store > App_LocalResources > ProductDetail.ascx. Locate the resource lnkReturn.Text in the middle change them with your text and save! ;-) Do the same for text 'Buy Now!' in the resource 'Purchase.Text'.
