Thanks, Gilles,

Has the tables changed at all?  Can I just swap out my paypal provider with the new one?  And Cart project?

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

As explained before, a lot of change has been done in almost all parts of the module. The best way is to install the version 03.00.00 and make a diff with WinMerge!

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks, I remember.. the problem is that I've made so many changes it will be hard to do that I think. I've added new providers.. added a provider type for connecting to 3rd party systems and importing products, I've had to update the admin, store tokens, skin objects, store menu, search and catalog properties, converted to Entity Model. My last step was to hook up paypal, but it looks like the release I was working off my be bugged. I'm just going to install 3.00.00 and add in the features I've added and see if I can get that to work.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Gilles,

I just completed converting all my changes (except for Entity Model) to 3.00.00 and I'm able to get PayPalIPN to work on the sandbox. Took 2 weeks to convert, but picked up some nice new features.

Quick question about the Anonymous check out - I've got it turned on to test it, but I'm not seeing it do anything. Does it work with the PayPal provider?

Thanks,

Jay

I made a mistake - my PayPalIPN is not working. I thought it was working because the OrderStatus table was switched around and all orders were showing Paid. I had had to repopulate it after deleting it. I had deleted data from orders, order details, and orderstatus during testing before realizing that order status was store system data. And when I repopulated it, I matched up the Id's with the enum numbers, however in another install for testing, the OrderStatus data is jumbled somewhat - OrderStatus Id 1 had information for enum 3, etc.

1 OrderStatus3.Text 3
2 OrderStatus1.Text 1
3 OrderStatus4.Text 4
4 OrderStatus5.Text 5
5 OrderStatus6.Text 6
6 OrderStatus7.Text 7
7 OrderStatus2.Text 2

I'm going to have to try and debug with the no-ip setup, though I'm not able to get that to work right off either. I was hoping that because this is the latest store module code that it would be a common issue and something with configuration - but the IPN address in the Sandbox is correct and accessible and I'm able to complete the sandbox tx in Paypal - it's just no results for IPN - either it isn't being called or isn't processing it when it gets the ping from paypal.

Thanks for any help,

Jay
