Hello,

I have two sites created using dnn, and in both i have dnn store module installed, the users reported my a strange error. They deleted a product but using the dnn search the product is steel found and when clicking the link the store catalog module generates a "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" on the "DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.Catalog.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)".
The version of dnn i'm using is "05.04.04" and the store is "2.1.36".
I made a test in a site im currently developing, but this one using the latest dnn version and the dnn store 3.0, and the same problem happens.
I think that the Page_Load event is not validating if the productID exists or is set as deleted.

Please i really need some help with this.

Hi Alexandru,

First, I'm sorry for the delay but I was really busy with my work!

Could you try to rebuild the search index and tell me if the error still appears?

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I found the search admin, it was on the host.
I rebuild the search, but it continues to find the products that no longer exist and the problem maintains.

Hi Alexandru,

May be your index is corrupted, please follow the steps explained here then rebuild your index. The Store 03.00.00 works perfectly on my computer,  deleted products and archived products are never indexed.
