Hi Paul,

Any news about the test? Saturday is close and if you need a change I have to know it quickly.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles

Got side tracked with another project I am in charge of. But tested everything last night.

Results work well for purchasing and cancelling orders, works for paying an order that is awaiting payment.

But, IPN page does not seem to update database. PayPal shows IPN sent successfully. I substituted a generic IPN page of mine for yours and it is receiving and processing messages to my database table. I can make this work in a pinch. But, thought you might like to know.
The case seems to be the same regardless of sandbox vs. live account.

So at this point I think I can make this work. But, if you have any ideas or solutions to the IPN issue, Iet me know.

Many thanks for your concern and help.

Paul

Hi Paul,

Please login to your website and go to Admin > Event Viewer. You should found some 'Store Alert' log if something is wrong at the IPN stage. DO NOT publish here informations from your logs, send them to me at: glepigocher AT yahoo.fr.

Hi Gilles

here is the problem there is from their latest IPN API manuaI:

payment_status can be one of the following.

Canceled_Reversal: A reversal has been canceled. For example, you
won a dispute with the customer, and the funds for the transaction that was
reversed have been returned to you.

Completed: The payment has been completed, and the funds have been
added successfully to your account balance.

Created: A German ELV payment is made using Express Checkout.

Denied: You denied the payment. This happens only if the payment was
previously pending because of possible reasons described for the
pending_reason variable or the Fraud_Management_Filters_x
variable.

Expired: This authorization has expired and cannot be captured.

Failed: The payment has failed. This happens only if the payment was
made from your customer’s bank account.

Pending: The payment is pending. See pending_reason for more
information.

Refunded: You refunded the payment.

Reversed: A payment was reversed due to a chargeback or other type of
reversal. The funds have been removed from your account balance and
returned to the buyer. The reason for the reversal is specified in the
ReasonCode element.

Processed: A payment has been accepted.

Voided: This authorization has been voided.

I think you are looking for the following:
Payed,
Pending,
Refunded,
Reversed,
Unattended,
Invalid

I need Completed
