Hi (Giles) :),
my today question is: How can I change formats of email, sent from store module as confirmation emails? I don´t like the style, that the message looks like one column... :-/ Are you able to tell me if is possible, that the mail body will contain:
1) My logo
2) Adress
3) Table from Store Account - Order detail
? Is it possible?
Thanks, Phil

Hi Filip,

You can change the text of all strings including email sent by the module with the DNN Language Editor. On the other hand, the format can't be changed a lot because emails are build from several string resources. The module use the C# string.Format("some text {0}) rules to replace values and this is not really easy to customize the email text. Moreover, you can't insert your logo because email is sent as Text (not HTML). Currently, I works on this for the next beta versions. It will be probably NOT finished for the very next one, but the work is in progress. In the future versions, you will be able to do what you need! I will use the standard DNN Token style to insert values from the order ([Order:OrderNumber], [BillingAddress:FirstName], [OrderDetail:ProductTitle] an so on).

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Giles, it´s sad :(. So would you tell me, how can i localize all the text from both emails? I´localized almost everything, but i can´t find resource file for 3 paragraphs... In confirmation email: 1) If, for whatever reason, your order cannot be processed, then one of our customer services representatives will contact you shortly. In status email: 1) This order (1052) has changed status to "Čeká na zaplacení". 2) You can check the status of your order at any time by logging in to our site and clicking the ShopingAccount link. Thanks Phil

Hi Filip,

Don't be sad! It will be enhanced in next versions. ;-) For each version, I first correct bugs, then try to add one or more usefull enhancements and new features.

Strings can be found in the used gateway provider resource files. Please read this post for details.
