Suggestion for a usability enhancement.

Provide a way of having a product detail link around a product title or model number in the catalogue listings. Currently (as far as I can work out), only the product thumbnail and the [LINKIMAGE] and [LINKDETAIL] tokens carry a link. Most catalogues support links around product names and codes, as they are logical places for users to click to find out more.

Cheers,

Hi Paul,
you can use the [TITLE] token for that purpose. It works exactly the way you have described.

Hi Paul,

Please download and read the Templating Guide available at Codeplex.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

I downloaded and read the templating guide when I started using DNN Store a couple of months ago! It's a very useful document but I didn't find any mention of how to create product detail links for the product name or code, not even on re-reading it and looking at the entry for the TITLE token referred to above. I may have overlooked something of course .

Cheers,

Paul
