Simultaneously paypal payment stopped working on two different servers!

one is running DNN 5.02  and store  2.1.30

other is running DNN 5.02.1 and store 2.1.28

Worked perfectly but suddenly after completing buy and being transfered to paypal you only get the following

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/

--------------

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@paypal.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log

---------------

Most probably something caused by Paypal ...I am waiting for a reply from paypal.

Has someone else found a solution to this problem?

...devastating for business  :-(  customers are mailing en masse and wondering whats happening.

I got this answer from paypal

-----------

The reason you're getting that error is because your shopping cart is posting too many unsupported and unrecognized variables (such as "business_country", "business_zip", "business_city", "business_address1", and "business_address2" to point out a few). I don't know if your shopping cart software gives you access to prevent you from posting the unsupported address variables to PayPal but you need to remove them. You're passing two addresses to PayPal and its resulting in an internal server error.

Here is a list of variables you can post to PayPal:

-------------------

I really need help to edit the store module to remove the above.

At the same time it is really strange that it appears suddenly like this on TWO sites

Anyway it would be nice to decrease the amount of fields required by the customer to fill in.  Name, adress, postcode, postadress, telephone is quite enough

Ok have you sent a case to Paypal? If so did they answer?

I am suspecting that the store module sends this double address they are talking about and has done this all the time. BUT Paypal has done some kind of change in the end of march which now causes an error on their side.

I am getting desperate for a quick fix - have been checking authorize.net but you need to apply for a account there and the site is very confusing. Anyway it is though to get information on a easter weekend.

Yeah this was paypal response to me.

Thank you for contacting PayPal’s Merchant Technical Services.

When setting the enctype="multipart/form-data in the form tag of a button, and you are specifically passing across prepopulation variables with null values, an Internal Server Error is given. This is a known issue that our developers are working to resolve. At this time, I unfortunately, do not have a timeframe as to when this issue will be resolved. You will be notified as soon as it is. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Workaround - If you would either remove the null variable from being passed over, or remove the enctype this should resolve the error.

But to resolve the issue i have put some standard buttoms and limit to 1 product out of 3 but my clients are very upset about the whole situation im also desperate but as you can see here no one care or can't help us out without say that with some coding will fix it lol. But im not a coder my self so im stock with no solution. Lets hope a very smart person willing to help can help us out wiht some instructions to change the code of the shipping that is my guess to where can be some null values. Hey even i can send some donations to this smart peopel but who knows if i find a solutions i will post it here for sure.

Lets hope for a solution soon either paypal or some one else.

Santos
