Hi,

I am getting the following error when trying to run my code from VS. Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.AddressEdit'.  It points me to the AddressEdit.ascx page.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Cheers,

Chris

it seems that your store module is not building properly so try to build the store module first without any error.

I have installed my copy using the Web Platform Installer.  Should I install the source code version?  The version I have already has compiled DLLs.  Is there a problem with the DLLs, or am I using them the wrong way?

Thanks for help

Hi,

The version included with DotNeNuke is an old one. Please use the last version available at Codeplex. You do NOT require the source version if you do not want to modify the code! Please download the guides at Codeplex.

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles,

I have downloaded and unzipped the attachment at the link you provided.  Thank you.  I'm now at the screen Module Definitions screen, trying to install the module, and I'm unsure of which file to point it to.  As for whether I need to modify the code, I'm trying to add my own extention to DNN, now as to whether that means I need to modify the code, I ask you, do I need to modify the code?  And are we talking the code to the store or the code to DNN?

Things need to be spelled out to me.  I am not experienced with dnn, so I'm unsure of the procedures.

Thank you.
