If you have installed the install package, then trying to install the source package the second times the package IS NOT installed because they have the SAME version number. You should install ONLY the source package to a fresh dnn instance (follow my advices from the "install WITH sources" post). It's not required to use dnn 4.4.1 but you should install dnn (with sources) in the C:\DotNetNuke_2/ folder.
