Hi João,

Do not install "by hand" the source files, please read this post.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi GIlles,

You Wrote:

Hi João,

You could add a 'main' category named 'Root' or 'All Products' or something like that, then define this category as parent of the current first level categories. By selecting this 'main' category as the Default Category in the Store Catalog module settings and checking the Sub-Categories checkbox in the Category Product Setttings section, you should obtain this kind of product list.

Gilles

I can't find a Sub-Categories check box. But I'm very interested in this. I don't want to show all the sub-categories under the parent. I want one and only one category to show at a time. How do I do this?

Chris

Hi Chris,

I assume than you use the version 02.01.00, no? ;-) The sub categories settings was added several month ago! This setting allow the Store admin to not show sub-categories when a category is selected by a visitor. This is exactly what you need. You should use the last version available at Codeplex. If you can wait just some days, I will produce a new one (02.01.29) shortly with some new features. :-)

Thank you, Gilles

Yes, we were running 2.1.0... hadn't worked on this project for a few months just now getting back to it. I uploaded 2.1.28 and got the changes and everything works great. Sorry about that, should've checked version first. I will get 2.1.29 and try it out. Thanks again.

Chris
