Please provide hints, pointers suggestions on where and how to alter the code to not send to a payment processor, or send to a payment processor as a test.  This is supposed to be "open source".  With the little information, some of us can help.

A simple email that sends the order to the Scrip Admin with no credit card, no shipping (shipping now requires .01 to be entered.  If you leave it at 0.00, it complains that it's an invalid value (reverts to 0; a bad format error occurs.)

I had 4.4 installed.  I noticed that a number of processors are listed on the host Admin/SiteSettings/ Payment Settings portion.

thanks to the kennster, from the thread above, I'm closer to getting it to work than ever before.  I have the email-only provider added...but in my 4.4.1 version I seem to be missing the checkout page.... http://www.ouramen.org/MakeSense/tabid/54/Default.aspx if anyone wants to try to answer my prayers and tell me what bonehead mistake I made, let me know.

order is processing.  and it is listed in the order history...cannot seem to see the detail.  Have not seen an email come through yet.  making progress....
