My store products will only include "credits" that allow usage of other parts of my website. So once a sale has been successfully transacted, I want to update a custom table with the amount of credits purchased.

What would be the best way to hook into the payment transaction workflow in order to accomplish this?

Hi Chris,

Tell me which Store version you use and the gateway provider used. I can't help you without this informations. Remember, I do not have a crystal ball!

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Whoops, sorry.

DNN v4.9.2 (PE), Store Module v2.1.0
We plan on using Authorize.net as the gateway provider.

In looking at the source code, it seems that hooking into the  DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.Cart.PaymentControlBase invokePaymentSucceded method is what I'm looking for.
Also, would this be the place for me to mark the order status as paid?

Thanks, ChrisG

Actually, I see in the Checkout control where the payment succeeded event is consumed. I gues I would use the point to initiate my specific requirement.

As far as the payment paid update, I'm assuming from previous postings that is a manual action from the admin order management screen. If the Authorize.net action creates a paid staus, please disregard.
