I am testing the store using the PayPal sandbox, and every time I try to pay the invoice, it says:
"This invoice has already been paid. For more information, please contact the merchant."

I have tried this using 2 different PayPal merchant accounts.  One is new, and has never had purchases made before, and the other has had successfull purchases with other stores.  I also tried making the purchases using 2 different sandbox accounts, with the same results.  The version of the store I am running is 02.01.00, and here are my settings:

Gateway: PayPalProvider
Use PayPal Sandbox: Yes
PayPal Verification URL: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/
PayPal Payment URL: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr/
PayPal Language: US
Charset UTF-8

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Derek,

Please read this post.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thank you for your quick reply.  Both accounts I tried the store on have never been used with the store before, so I'm not sure why I'm getting this message.  The one is a brand new account, and has never had a purchase on it before, so I know there are no duplicate order ids.

Hi Derek,

It's not related to the Store module, if you already used a sandbox account with an other store like product and if the used order numbers was in the same range (>1000) then PayPal inform you about a duplicate order number. PayPal control the already used numbers what ever the product used because PayPal do not know the product used to generate order numbers. May be you misundestand me, there are two kind of "account" within PayPal sandbox. The first account to access the sandbox is the "reel" one and those created inside the sandbox are the "false" one. I'm talking about to create a new "reel" account. You should create a totaly new sandbox account (new registering email, new accounts,...) and retry with this new sandbox account. On the other hand, you can to apply my advice in the other post and increase the seed order number to an higher number (>5000). In this case, you should ask the PayPal support to know what is the current higher order number already used with this account.
