I was looking at the blogs yesterday to see what is new with this module and I see that there hasn't been any activity on the blog about the module for some time. Is this module no longer being worked on and furthered to become better as DNN continues to grow?

Thanks,
Herb

Hi Herb,

I know that we (Benoît my co-lead and me) are not very active in the blogs. But don't be afraid, the Store module is ALIVE! Currently, I made some change to the module to be XHTML compliant because it's a new required step in the release tracker. I hope to finish this work in two weeks. I have to post a LOOONNNNNGGGG text about new enhancements in the version 02.02.00, but I have just 24h hours in my days! ;-)

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Gilles,
Your efforst don't go unnoticed.

On the surface, the store might seem "deceptively simple" because it's intuitive and easy to start using, but it's quick to see just how much effort you and your team have put into things - especially when looking at the code.

Thank you from here.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Thank you! I manage the Store module (and previously WWStore) from ~3 years now and I'm not the only one in this story. Many talented contributors have done a really good work on this module too. I receive your thank for each of them! :-)

I do not know if you have tried the current beta, but there is many improvements inside.... and so much work to do in the future. The Story is not finished!

Gilles
