Hi guys/girls

I was wondering is there anyway to set up the store to only show a product catalog?

I dont want a online shop just a catalog with prices.

I tried with the store module but in my utter noobness I stuffed it up completelly.

I got a really small business and cant fork out $50 yet for a catalog module.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Volstruis,

Yes! You can do this easily. Install the Store module (read the chapter 3 in this post for directions, other chapters are for source version only), then look inside the folder ..\DesktopModules\Store\Templates (if you check the setting "Store Templates" in the Store Admin module the right folder is ...\Portals\n\Store\Templates). You will find some html templates for the different sections of the Store Catalog module, like ProductList.htm and ProductDetail.htm. By default, the category product section use ProductList.htm and the detail section use ProductDetail.htm. Open the files with a text editor and remove the tokens: [ADDTOCARTIMG], [ADDTOCART], [PURCHASEIMG] and [PURCHASE]. That's all! In your case, you don't have to create a page for the Store Account module.

I have a question, is Volstruis your first name? It sound like a nordic one, may be from Norway? I know, I'm curious.

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.
