Upgraded to DNN 4.08, everything fine.

Removed old store module

Installed new 2.01 and got this error from the catalogue module

Error:

Store settings are not defined.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.Catalog.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Hi,

For me the error message is crystal clear! You do NOT have defined the Store settings. Then, the store modules can't work if the store do NOT realy exist! Please, follow my advices in the chapter 3 (other chapters are for source version ONLY) of this post.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks for your reply Gilles, but where is "Chapter 3" exactly? Is there some documentation for the store that I'm missing?

Hi David,

Click on the word "post" in my previous response! I know the light grey on white background for links is not helpfull, but it's the skin of the forum.

Thanks, I woke in the middle of the night and decided to check the forum.  I think I was half asleep when I read the post.

Thanks again!
