I have many sites with true www.domainname.com with your store running. I have also installed store on a few child portals for the customer before they get their domain name purchased. I have found that if you login as HOST and set up the store, the Host accont has no issues, but if you login with any other accoint (admin or just a user) you will get kicked off - logged out of the site as soon as you click the store page. If you login as the Admin of the child portal, and click the store page or land on it after login, the store item images will just display a place holder empty box, like the page didnt load, if you click on anything, you get logged out of the site. Can anyone esle confirm this auto-loggout of non HOST user when installing and using STORE on a Child portal that doesnt yet have a true www.domainname.com in the alias or setup as a true domain name site.  thanks  (any site using store setup as a child portal will kick non host users out ie www.sitename.com/childportalname

anyone else?

Hi,

An other user (Netwalker) seems to have the same problem. I search for a solution.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi again,

I think of having found the solution. Send me an email to glepigocher AT yahoo.fr, I will send you the new dlls with a path about the Tax Provider and the Child Portal problem.

Can you give us a brief detail of what causes this? what you fixed?  also, I did email you asking for the DLLs. Maybe post them on the project home page as a download? or us the next version of the store going to be out in the next few days that would include these?

Thanks for all your hard work. Great module. I hope to show my site that uses store in the next week or so once its polished up. Its looking nice and working great (its not a child porta, its a real separate domain :)   )

Thanks again.

Hi,

It's a problem about the call to an aspx (Thumbnails.aspx) without the portalid in the querystring! When a module call an ascx without the portalid, dnn think you are a different user and close your session. This occurs only with child portals. It's an already found bug on WWStore, but I do not remember. This will be corrected in the next version.

Even if I am a team member, I do not have special access rights to the dotnetnuke pages. My account is exactly the same than yours! Then, I can't add it to the download page.
