Hi I am getting an error when i add the Shop to an empty page.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this:

A critical error has occurred.
An error ocurred while reading 'E:\webroots\LocalUser\dan18463\public_html\DesktopModules\Store\Providers\TaxProviders\DefaultTaxProvider\ProviderInfo.xml'.

Looks like its a great module so i really want to use it ;)

Hi Rolf,

Please follow my advices in the chapter 3 only (other chapters are for the source version) of this post for prepare your Store. Then tell me if this correct your problem.

I have opened the 'ProviderInfo.xml' but that file looks to be pretty straight forward xml so I am pretty sure the problem is to be found elsewhere.

In advance thank you.

Hi Rolf,

The module messages are clear on your Store page:

An error has occurred.
Store settings are not defined.

In other words, you did not follow step 4 on the chapter 3. Because you do not have Store settings defined, the module can't work!

I send you my email today for help you to set your Store.

Gilles

Gilles was very helpful and have helped me sort out this error. It was NOT related to the store Module, but rather to my webhost having removed the right to read/write to the windows/temp folder on the server.

The solution was to follow this advise

http://dnnblog.venexus.com/Unable+To+Generate+A+Temporary+Class+At+End+Of+DotNetNuke+40+Installation.aspx

Thank Gilles for your time and patience with helping a newbee.
