Hi

I am currently trying to set up Store Module with PayPal Setup.
After creating a Business Account with PayPal Sandbox i requested the API-Credentials.

All I got were: API-Username, API-Password and Signature.

But in Store Module, there's only a Field for PayPal-ID.  Where do I get the ID and why do I not have to provide username and password?
Are those provided in Portal Setup? (Those settings will be deprecated in future?)

Sorry to ask such questions but I tried too long now to get it up and running...

Thanks for answers and your time

Hi,

You have to enter the email address used for create your Business Account in the field PayPal ID of the PayPalProvider inside Store Admin. The Store module do not use the PayPal API, there is different ways for submit payments to PayPal. The Store module use the HTML Form Basics for Website Payments Standard method. Read the chapter 9 of the Website Payments Standard Integration Guide for details. Moreover the settings PayPal Language, Charset and Currency must be the same in the Store Admin and your PayPal Account.

It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Gilles

Works like a charm now.

One more question: Does automatic payment confirmation work already?

Thanks for your time

Hi Reto,

By automatic payment confirmation, do you think about IPN (Instant Payment Notification)? If yes, normaly the Store module is called by PayPal when the buyer pay for his order.
