hello, I have setup the latest store module (2.x) and have registered on developer.paypal.com as sandbox.paypal@mydomain.com created two accounts on developer.paypal.com vix - merchant.sandboxtesting.mydomain.com and customer.sandboxtesting.mydomain.com. Both are confirmed with balance in them. developer.paypal.com gave me two id's when i created above accounts 1) merc_19xxxxxx_biz@mydomain.com and 2) custo_17xxxxxx_cust@mydomain.com.

Now  went into my dnn and logged in as host, set the payment processor as paypal, and checked the "sandbox" check box for sandbox testing. Updated the service provider email id merc_19xxxxxx_biz@mydomain.com and then also updated the admin settings for the website with the exact same info.

I have product costing $1 which I purhcase and then shop via custo_17xxxxxx_cust@mydomain.com and all goes well until I hit "pay" button which then gives me this error everytime without fails - "This invoice has already been paid. For more information, please contact the merchant"

Can anybody help me understand what am I doing wrong? what should I be doing to get ride of this error and make the setup work?

PLEASE GURU'S, any and EVERY HELP/GUIDANE is very highly appreciated. I am sure I am not the only fellow who might have hit this situation?

Please help me resolve this error, it's driving me nuts since past 2 days.

Sincerely appreciate any reply,

Thanks much in advance.

Hi Siddharth,

Probably you tested previous version of Store with PayPal and submit orders. In this case the order numbers previously used can't be re-used! By default, the Store module start his order number to 1000. Try to look inside your PayPal account if an order history is available. If you can find to higher order number already used, you can modify the start counter to this value + 1 with a database tool like Enterprise Mananger. Edit the table Store_Orders and change the start counter of the column OrderID to an higher value (1500, 2000, 2500, ...).

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Gilles,

I'm getting this same problem and have tried incrementing the  OrderID value to several values up to 12500 but still get the "This invoice has already been paid" error.  I haven't used the sandbox anywhere near enough to have caused it to reach an OrderID of 12500.  Is there some other problem that has been identified since this thread was answered last?

Regards
Taz
