Hi all,

I have a query regarding the store. I am Currently building a store that needs the ability for the user to have the ability to upload a picture to be put onto the product and have that upload attached to the order in process so to speak. is there any way during the checkout process using the latest version of the store module that this could be made possible.

Many thanks.

Dave

Hi Dave,

Each product can have one image, but this images cannot be downloaded. You want sell pictures? May be in a future version I will add a feature like this.

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I think Dave means to allow the customer to attach an image to the order. For example, if it were for getting one's photo put on a t-shirt.

I haven't checked the new store yet, but if it has a "Special Instructions" field during checkout, then the idea would be to extend that section with a file upload control. That would be the best place for it I think.

Hi Rob,

May be I do not understand!

I agree that the best place would be at the checkout, but I don't have any plan now for this kind of feature. Because it's too specific. I have a lot of more generic features to include before!
