will the 'reviews' be restricted to registered and authenticated users ? would be nice to be able specify in the settings who can give a review including option to limit to customers whom have purchased the item in question would also be handy.

The current version of the Store allows any user to "submit" a review. However, no review is posted without being manually authorized by the Store Admin.

We are considering several changes to the Review submission and approval workflow for future versions. One of the items being considered is allowing the Store Admin to limit review submissions to only previous customers of the product being reviewed.
