Hi,

Wish someone can help me with Store module. Store module has customer Link .  Module has a drop down box  that lists customers name. From my gathering, customers name will be listed in the dropdown box when they make a purchase.

Firstly, I am not using shopping cart and i have removed the price token. So this customer drop down box is useless for my client.

What i am hoping is if i can somehow modify this page to user defined page, meaning client enter their customer details. Is it possible to modify this page.

Secondly, If it is possible, can the customers userID and email address linked to customer page?

Lastly, the first two cannot be done, can I just remove the link.

If anyone could help me with this would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks

Nitha

Cheers, Nitha

Hi Nitha,

Which version use you? I do not know where is this "customer link"! Can you give me more details (module name, ...)

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I am using DNN version 03.03.04 and

Store Admin The Store Admin module provides the administration interface for the Store. 01.00.01
I tried to print screen and paste but unable to do so.

Its the store admin module and in that module has 5 links : Store information, Categories, Products, Customers, Reviews.

If you could help would be great.  Thanks.

Hi Nitha,

It's more clear for me now! For hide the customer link, you can edit the file Store.ascx and modify the two lines (15 and 16) above:

<asp:linkbutton id="btnCustomers" cssclass="Normal" runat="server" resourcekey="btnCustomers">Customers</asp:linkbutton>
<asp:label id="lblSpacer4" cssclass="Normal" runat="server">|</asp:label>

like this:

<asp:linkbutton id="btnCustomers" cssclass="Normal" runat="server" resourcekey="btnCustomers" visible="false">Customers</asp:linkbutton>
<asp:label id="lblSpacer4" cssclass="Normal" runat="server" visible="false">|</asp:label>

Do not delete the lines!

The Store module 1.1 is an older version with too many bugs. I do not maintain it. I have created the new version Store 02.01.00 but this version is not available for now, look in the release process. Alternatively, you can try WWStore 02.01.01 at www.dotnetnuke.fr, this is the same code base. The both versions require dnn 4.4.1 or above!
