Hi,

Can anyone help me?  I need to hide prices from all anonymous users.  In other words, only show product prices to those who have logged in.  HELP!

Hi Darren,

You have to follow every steps in this post for install WWStore 02.00.08 with sources. When this will be done, I wil guide you.

Gilles

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

I went ahead and made the following change to the ProductDetails.ascx.cs file.  Specifically the processToken method, case PRICE.

Label lblPrice = new Label();
if (UserInfo.IsInRole("Registered Users") || UserInfo.IsInRole("Administrators"))
{
     if (productInfo.SalePrice != Null.NullDecimal && System.DateTime.Now > productInfo.SaleStartDate && System.DateTime.Now < productInfo.SaleEndDate)
     {
          //Product is on sale...
          lblPrice.Text = string.Format(Localization.GetString("SpecialOffer", this.LocalResourceFile), productInfo.UnitCost.ToString("C", LocalFormat), productInfo.SalePrice.ToString("C", LocalFormat));
     }
     else
     {
            lblPrice.Text = string.Format(Localization.GetString("Price", this.LocalResourceFile), productInfo.UnitCost.ToString("C", LocalFormat));
     }
}
else
{
     lblPrice.Text = Localization.GetString("PriceDetailLogin", this.LocalResourceFile);
}
return lblPrice;

Hi Darren,

One word: Perfect!

Why you don't tell me that you already have installed sources?

Gilles
