Your problem about the correct path is a common mistake!

Previously, Store AND WWStore was not able to create two or more stores with different templates inside one dnn instance. Because all files where located inside the folder ..\DesktopModules\WWStore\Templates and shared accross ALL portals. IMHO, it's a shame because one dnn instance can hold thousands web sites! This is why I added the setting "Portal Templates" inside the StoreAdmin module. When this param is checked, the module look for the templates files inside the folder ...\Portals\n\WWStore\Templates allowing to have one template set by portal. If you uncheck it, the module look for the files inside the folder ...\DesktopModules\WWStore\Templates. Moreover, this improvement makes it possible a DNN administrator to download/modify/upload the templates and images directly through the files manager. Previously, it was necessary to have access to the folder ...\DesktopModules\WWStore\Templates via ftp, which is seldom the case when the instance is hosted.

Concerning the link detail image, it's your choice! I think it would be better to apply the same rule even if currently the image do not have text inside. This will permit to have an other image file WITH localized text in the future.

so, that is what the 'Portal Templates' setting is for. Thanx for the  detailed explanation.

So, if i want to create a new WWStore installation PA, i have to add the files in both folders, for handling both cases (using or not using the Portal templates).

Is that correct? In order to test the PA installation, I tried two test cases.

During the 1st, i installed "WWStore_02.00.08_Install.zip" on a clean DNN instance and then installed "WWStore_02.00.09_Install.zip", wcich contained all the necessary changes for implementing the new localized image file changes (new images and source code). But the new image files i' ve created, were inserted only  in side the  "...\DesktopModules\WWStore\Templates" folder.

During the 2nd, i installed "WWStore_02.00.09_Install.zip" on a clean DNN instance and my new files were inserted inside both folders and had no problem.

Why does this happen? Inside the WWStore PA manifest file, each image file is only referenced once.

Finally, about the personalized skin images, i am using the default DNN skins (blue, gray, orange). The code has been tested and everything works fine, meaning that the new images are displayed based on, not only the language, but also on the skin selected.

bulls eye, very good explanation. Your concerns about the templates being overriden is correct.

So, I followed your solution and everything worked as expected.

About the skin modification, i think that you are concerned for the case that a custom skin is applied as the portal template skin. You are correct, in such a case, none of the images could be displayed. But i think, that, this is solved by adding another else statement and some new default image files (based on language only) for the situations that a custom skin has been aplied. Using this approach, we have both cases covered and moreover, any user can make code modifications (and create new image files), in order to support skin images customization for every  skin he wants to apply.
