Everything you suggested works fine. But i am trying to just play with code behind. I want to see how the changes to code behind will reflect the module.

Rightnow i could not get my changes to code affect the runtime. Even putting breakpoint doesn't stop the process at that point. Any suggestions please?

Hi Ram,

For modify the code, you must install the source version. Please, follow exactly my procedure in this post (same folder, site name, ...). Then, you will be able to run the solution in debug mode.

Hi,

I followed all those steps. As i told you earlier i found only the wwstore.sln file. But did not find wwstore.suo file. I downloaded PA files only. And i didnot understand the 19,20and 21 steps in that post. But even after installing i am running through DotNetNuke.sln file because it is not working good with wwwstore .sln file. While building solution i am getting error.Thats why i am running through DotNetNuke.sln.Then it is working fine but not going to debug mode.Even commenting the code also working fine.Getting error only if i removed the dll file or renaming it.so i cant understand from where it is taking the code.Plz Help me.Its very urgent.

Thank you

Hi Ram,

Do you have installed dnn 4.4.1 with sources inside the folder C:\DotNetNuke_2 ?

Do you have named your virtal directory DotNetNuke_2? In other words, do you access to your site with: http://localhost/DotNetNuke_2 ?

If not (both questions), this is the source of your problem!

You MUST use the WWStore.sln file for working on the source version of the module! Don't worry about the file WWStore.suo, it's not important. The steps 19-21 resume what you have to change if you HAVE NOT followed my advices about naming (DotNetNuke_2).

Because your project seems to be urgent, you can call me with Skype. My email is in my profile (click on ploum in the left column). I will try to guide you.

Hi Thanks for your Reply. Now i am using DotNetNuke 4.5.5 Source.I installed wwStore in this source only.Is it wrong? Can i use that? Can i use DotNetNuke 4.4.1 Source or 4.4.1 Install.I pointed Virtual Directory DotNetNuke_2 to c:\DotnetNuke_2\Website because it was given to point to folder having web.config file.Is it correct? And when i run from dotnetnuke.sln only i am not getting any error,if i am trying to run from wwStore.sln i am getting error as

Error    1    The command "copy D:\DotNetNuke_2\Website\DesktopModules\WWStore\Providers\bin\DotNetNuke.Modules.WWStore.Providers.dll \DotNetNuke_2\WWStore_02.00.00_Install" exited with code 1.
even though i copied  C:\DotNetNuke_2\WWStore _02.00.00_Install and C:\DotNetNuke_2\WWStore _02.00.00_SkinObjects files.Thats why i am running with DotNetNuke.sln.Is it correct to do like that.

Thanks
