Total newbie..just managed to get DNN installed without too many problems...this forum is a great help.

I want to add the Store module, but, being a complete newbie, I don't even know how to install *any* module as yet!

Any help would be great!

Thanks

I think you need to visit www.dotnetnuke and download document in there, where provide anything for a newbie as you. Have you success.

Hi Paul,

I agree, with the previous cmment, it's allways a good start to read the documentations about DNN!

Store is like all other modules. It's available as a PA (Private Assenbly), or as source install. If you don't need to modify something, download the PA version (modulename_Install.zip). Login as Host to your dnn, and go to Host > Modules menu. At the bottom of the screen, click on "Install New Module". Now, browse to the place where is the zip file and upload it. That's all!

After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately I'm having major issues with back end...it's all got something to do with my web host not allowing full level trust without me buying a server off them...a bit overkill to get Open Source software to function. DNN seemed great, too, but I'm afraid I'll have to abandon further work on DNN.

Thanks

Paul Flynn

Hi Paul,

Change your host! I do not know where you live, but in France you can have a small dedicated server for ~60€/month.
