Does anyone know why the wwstore is causing this error in the event log.  I've emailed the developer several months ago but he must be very busy.  Any help would be wonderful.  I've looked in the db and tried to find the problem but I don't see it.

The names used in development were just too long. Move your project as close to c: as possible and the problem will disappear.

I see, I guess this will not work for me because for some reason Webhost4life put me on D:......oh well.  Thanks for the info.

Hi Janet,

As vitkoz explain it's a problem about too long file names under windows. This is not because your web site is on D:, ask your host if they can move your site closer to the root (D:\DotNetNuke). If the problem occurs only on the StoreAdmin page, you can try to rename it with a shoter name like "Admin" or "SA".

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hey, thanks a lot for clarifying this for me...sometimes I'm dense...<LOL> I will do this right away.

Anyway I know everyone is working hard  trying to get a new version out so I really hate bothering you guys.  I love the store and I don't think this error is causing any problems I just have to remember to clear the log every now and again.  I wonder....is there a way to turn off the log so that is doesn't go into the db but someplace else so I can read it if necessary?  I have many craft sites that I keep for friends and they are not terribly PC literate so I do my best to keep things cleaned up and do upgrades on a regular basis but I have so many to take care of sometimes it's hard to get to them...and since I don't get paid for it....I'd like to make it much easier for myself if you know what I mean.<s>  If anyone knows if there is a way to do this I'd sure appreciate if you'd send a quick note on how to do it.

Thanks again for your help,

Janet
