Any chance on some more regular communication on how things are going? Your original post really filled a lot of us with hope -- two months and a possible release, but here we are 3+ months after your post (2/28/2007) and still no real news.

Some questions (please answer them)

• What is the actual status of the project?
• What are your immediate plans/goals
• Can you post a alpha/beta version for the community to start playing with?

My apologies if my message can across as anything more than just a plea for updates :)  Like many, I have been hoping for some progress on this project for more than a year.  It has gotten to the point where I have gone ahead a fixed 90% of the bugs in the current source code just so I could use the Store project in even its most basic form.  I have  been holding off on several new projects for about 4 months now in the hopes that I could start using the new code base (since it has most of what I am looking for). 

I have a lot of faith in Will -- he has a great reputation in the community and I was very glad to see someone with his backgroup step up to help out on this project.  It would just be nice to see a weekly or monthly posting on what is going on, where things stand, etc, etc.

Here is to the future of the store module! :)
