I am new to Store Module and I have some problems with configuring it.

can any one say me how can I configure Store module to work without cookies and sensitive to logged in User ?!!

I don't want to use Store with cookies, that is sensitive just to PC that user used to browse website. I want to check his/her account, not PC !

regards

Farzin

DNN needs cookies, therefore I see no option to use store eithout it.

Farzin,

Due to the stateless environment of the Internet, a cookie is the only way for DotNetNuke, the Store, or any website to know that a visitor has returned to a website. Without cookies, a user would have to login to every time to every website or there would be no way to determine the user, account, or the shopping cart that belongs to them.

A cookie has no other purpose than to persist website specific information beyond session scope.

Contrary to popular belief, cookies are just small files that can be saved by the browser and only retrieved by the website that created them. They do not and cannot reveal any information about the PC beyond the parameters found in a typical http request.

Anyone who tells you different is just uninformed or inexperienced. (J)
