SSF Forms 9.1
Dynamic Data Management
SSF Forms 9.1 has been released with a new SQL Mapping mode feature.
The new SQL Mapping mode allows you to map your form questions directly
to fields in a database table or view. You can insert, update and manage
without the need to define the SQL queries or commands needed. SSF
Forms Pro does it for you. Or you can set the Form Mode to Use SQL
Settings and define your own Select, Insert and Update SQL for more
complex and detailed control.
SSF Forms includes the powerful SSF Data View module that allows you to
view and manage data from SSF Forms Submissions or from any accessible
database table or tables using standard SQL queries (Professional
Edition). SSF Forms provides the gathering and SSF Data View provides
the management. With these two modules, you can create fully interactive
data environments on your DotNetNuke web site. SSF Forms provides total
control over how your Form looks, allowing unlimited configuration and
using existing or custom styles.
The Form Builder provides all the form building tools right at your
fingertips and allows you to preview your form as you work. The Form
Builder is an excellent way to get started building forms and as you
learn more you can easily access advanced features as well. SSF Forms
allows you to create forms in multiple page formats or as expandable
sections, and features many types of Input Controls that you can use for
your Form Questions. Then, Form Events allow you to make your forms
interactive and dynamically changing as users begin to fill out the
form. Events also allow you to send emails, perform SQL (Professional
Edition), show or hide questions and a whole lot more. You can even
chain forms together, pass information betweeen forms and other modules
or sites, the possiblities are endless. SSF Forms can handle just about
any data gathering or management scenario you may need.

Tokens & Templates
SSF
Forms supports the use of tokens in many of its Question and Event
properties. Most standard DNN tokens are supported, as well as some
custom tokens created specifically for SSF Forms. The power of these
tokens really shines when creating custom Question and Page Templates,
allowing your Form to be fully dynamic and interactive.
Form Events
Form
Events allow you to create forms that are fully user interactive and to
create imaginative and innovative forms that can do more than just
gather data. You can show or hide questions, navigate pages, alter
answers and other form elements...the list is endless. Using events you
can save answers to text or HTML files, or create a PDF file. You can
store data in custom database tables (Professional Edition), send data
to other forms, web sites or modules, and store answers in browser
session variables to be used by other modules. With the Professional
Edition, you can execute multiple events based on simple or complex
expressions that can be evaluated using Event Scripting, and you can
even schedule events to execute when needed or on a recurring basis with
Scheduled Events. You can add or remove users from roles, register or
login users, and load and save user profile information.
