North Sky Productions has released NorthSky.Menu, a CSS menu package for DNN that includes both skinobject and module implementations -- and even a container skinobject for the actions menu! Available right now from SnowCovered.com. Developed for DNN 4.8+ and DNN 5.1.1+.

The current version is now 1.2.5 and fixes various issues with the action menu and DNN4 compatibility. Also should now work with DNN 5.0.1+.

The website has also been updated. Visit the new forums to discuss the menu or get support.

I'm going to endorse this menu. I've tried a fair few menus now and this is the one I'm settling on.

After some integration work, I've gained full XHTML compliance, and the reduction in requests and data load is very significant, especially when signed in - due to the replacement action menu. The friendly license was also an important part of buying this. The developer has also fixed every issue I've reported - without any fuss or pushback. One needs to have a good understanding of CSS in order to style it, but it's no different from any other CSS/list menu, as that is what it is.

Version 1.4 of the NorthSky.Menu has been released. There is new support for time delay on submenus, so a submenu can be "sticky" for a short time after the hovering mouse pointer is moved away. If a delay time is entered, the menu is rendered using JavaScript, no matter what the browser. Otherwise, the menu is rendered with pure CSS in most browsers.

Please note that the menu is licensed per developer, which means you can buy it once and use it on any site you work with. A single license covers all your sites! That's a good deal for just $29! Check it out at SnowCovered.com (http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovere...).

Simple. Versatile. Affordable.
