Hi, I need help with my Solpart menu. The problem is, when idle, the sub menu items look fine :

But when hover, there's a little white space in the right of the selected tab :

I know this is caused by the padding value in skin.css, but I can't figure the solution to fix it. Please point me to the right direction. Thanks

Here's my submenu configuration :

.submenu{
    cursor: pointer;
    cursor: hand;
    border:1px #C0C9D1 solid;
    margin-top:0px;
    margin-left:3px;
    background:#ffffff repeat-x;
    z-index: 4;
    font-family:Verdana;
    font-size: 10px;
    padding-right:10px;
}
.MainMenu_MenuArrow{ display:none; }
.MainMenu_RootMenuArrow{ display:none; }
.MainMenu_MenuBreak{ display:none; }
.MainMenu_MenuItem, .submenuitembreadcrumb{
cursor: pointer;
cursor: hand;
color:#325167;
font-size:10px;
font-weight:bold;
font-family:Verdana;
border:1px #ffffff solid;
border-width:1px 0px;
z-index: 4;

}
.submenuitemselected{
cursor: pointer;
cursor: hand;
color:#FFFFFF;
font-size:10px;
font-family:Verdana;
font-weight:bold;
background:#008fb1 repeat-x;
border:1px #C0C9D1 solid;
border-width:1px 0px;
z-index: 4;
}

Thanks very much for replying. I've set up a child portal using this skin with some child pages containing icons. Please examine it and let me know what I should do..

This is actually a modification of a skin I bought a long time ago (at first the submenu had the icons display turn off).  Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the designer since there's no clue in the skin pacakage , so I can't contact them.

Chao Hoang;

I looked at your dnn skin and it seems that you have set the style for .submenu with the right padding of 10px.

I would remove that and it'll fix the problem.

.submenu{padding: 0;}

Hope this helps!

Hi Cuong, my name is Duc, not Hoang

I know the problem lies in that padding. However, I do need it, since if I remove the value, the right border will stick to the sub menu items. That looks very ugly in my opinion.

What I want to approach is to set the submenuitemselectedcss so that the background color can fill the entire row. Is this possible?

Thanks

P.S : You're living in VN, aren't you? What city, by the way? Ever thought of a VN DNN User Group? (I don't think we have enough users to separate into different regions)
