I am getting a bar under each module that never used to be there before.   Ive included an example of this bar.  I need to know how to get rid of it or what file it is coming from.

It must be something within your skin container package..Without viewing the source of the page I can't tell you more than that...

Looks like a missing image to me - perhaps a transparent spacer GIF. Can you right-click on the bar and check if it's an image? If so, check the URL in the image properties and make sure that the image file exists.
