I have been getting complaints from so users that use Mac OSX and the AOL browser that they can not navigate some sites. The one site in question is using the solpart menu. They are telling me the get error messages and the links are flat out "broken".

Anyone else had reports like this?

Most likely you will need to update the spmenucaps.config file to handle whatever AOL uses for a browser (and useragent).

Sorry Jon, but can you be more specific? How do I accomplish this?

The controls\solpartmenu folder contains a xml file called spmenucaps.config.  Inside it you will see how each browser is identified and assigned abilities on whether it supports XMLParsing, XMLDataIslands, Transitions, and UpLevel (rendering).  It decides this based on the browser's UserAgent.

I don't know what browser AOL for the mac uses, therefore I don't know its capabilities.  I also don't know what useragent it sends.  To simply have it render downlevel and make the assumption that AOL is in the useragent somewhere, you could add something like

 <functionality nm="UpLevel" desc="Renders Uplevel">
  <supports>
...
  </supports>
  <excludes>
   <browser contains="AOL" />
  </excludes>
 </functionality>
