I added custom categories  in (Module_Categories »» Taxonomy Manager)  and assigned the added categories to various modules (Host »» Extensions page) without any issue.

But in the event of the deleting a category  (Module_Categories »» Taxonomy Manager) BEFORE removing/delisting the category from  ALL of the assigned module/s the below error was generated.

To resolve this issue I had to manually add the deleted category in the relevant table (Taxonomy_Terms) in the database to have the  HOST and ADMIN  access back again

The installation is version 7.3 CE

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.
