A member tied to register on site and received the validation email but received this reply:

 "Invalid verification code" after clicking on the link
in the verification email.

Perhaps he clicked the link within the body of his email reader and got a truncated verification code due to word wrap creating a premature ending?

Were you able to verify the attempt from your site logs and see whether the code was accurate and complete?

Have you created a secondary personal account yourself and tested the verification process?

Sorry, but IMHO I think you will need to have more than one instance of this and identify the common factor between those instances to identify a bug and eliminate user error or email glitches.

I tested the process with 4 different people using different browsers- same result. I read in other forum threads this was an issue in early builds on 6.2.0, and i have to say the site I'm working with is on 6.2.0 not 6.2.1 where the problem was "fixed".

So bill- your answer to me was somewhat correct. it was an issue, but s/n be one anymore.

However -

I've encountered a different issue altogether..the app_offline.htm file is not taking the site offline!
So I'm wondering just how to take the site offline so I can do the upgrade to 6.2.2?

Hi,

 having similar problem. The verification Link ist broken. Instead of & is & used. Example:

 not working:

 http://www.domain.org/default.aspx?ct....

working:
 http://www.domain.org/default.aspx?ct....
Anybody having an idea or a workaround?
