The company I work for owns a series of smaller companies and we are creating DNN portals for all of them. We want each smaller company's site to have a short blurb about the parent company that they cannot alter.

Our first plan was to create a role for each company (XYZ Admin Role) that behaves exactly like the standard Administrators role, but their privileges for the parent company's blurb module have been revoked. So far I have not found a way to do that. I have tried creating a user that is a member of both the Administrators role and XYZ Admin Role and set XYZ to not be able to edit the module, but I believe their Administrator privileges override their XYZ Admin Role blocks.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Again, we want a module that is only editable by the SuperUser account, which is controlled by the parent company.

How about just placing it in the skin of the site?

We hired a company to create our skins, so we have no experience with creating/altering them. But I will look into it and see what we can come up with. Thank you for the suggestion!
