I have two instances of DNN 6.1.0 installed on the same domain:

http://MyDomain/PortalA - with a useraccount (kjones/testing123)

http://MyDomain/PortalB - with a useraccount (kjones/password123)

when kjones logins to PortalA and then types the URL for PortalB he is automatically signed on. This is great if Kjones in both portals belong to the same person. However, both accounts are for different users. Any suggestions to fixing this issue? Tried search but could not think of what I should search for.

Tried assigning different application pool for one of the portals but the issue remains.  Any ideas?

Due to the fact I didn't hear back from any DNN member, I believe that I may have something unique about those two portals that causing the issue.  Please let me know if the issue I have is something caused by DNN or asp.net membership design

One thing I found is that both portals web.config files are sharing the same machinekey (validationkey & DecryptionKey..).  Could this cause the issue I referred to above?  If not, could someone explain the implication of having the same machine key in two or more portals that are hosted in the same IIS and sharing the same Application Pool, if any?
