So, I've got a container that works on every other page, but this one... The container starts with
 "<div> id="white">

All the text I want to be white, gets that ID placed in front of it. If works on every page, with every skin, except one. Can someone please take a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Doesn't work here:

Works perfect, here:

no idea- all i can tell from the rendered output is that it is on the 2nd page but not the first - but i've no way of knowing if youre applying the container on the first page (or if you have disabled containers for the module)

Cathal, Thanks for the response. That's the right idea. Two minds are better than one, apparently.

Disabling the container causes DNN to strip out all of my formatting and I didn't realize it would behave that way. If that's the case, I'll have to put the id="white" directly into the content, correct?

PS... I don't know if you have it, or not, but I use firebug. It helps me look at the html, live. I could tell it wasn't rendering the container, I just didn't know if it was normal behavior or something I had (or hadn't) done.

glad that was it. Yes, firebug is my weapon of choice as well though the F12 tools on both IE and Chrome and pretty good also

To resolve this, I had to enter the CSS information directly into the skin.css file. Despite selecting the container I wanted to use, if you un-check the option to display the container, in the module's properties, it removes all CSS specified in the container's css file and defaults to the skin.css.

I wrapped all the content in a div and gave it the id of "white" In the skin.css, I identified the text I needed by using the combination

#white .cssproperty {
color:white;
}
