Hello,
on my dnn 5.6.2 host I find tons of errors about the purgecache scheduler failing because of an invalid path:

TYPE: DotNetNuke.Services.Cache.PurgeCache
EXCEPTION: Could not find a part of the path 'c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\Cache'.

Did anybody face such an error? Any solution?

Thank you,
al.

Solution no. All i can tell you is  that our 5.6.2 upgrades in 3 websites (from 5.6.1) have the same results.

5.6.2 is a totally broken and highly unstable release. I'm shocked that it was released as a stabilization version.

I guess DNN team is/was working with other projects like version 6 and Active modules, so 5.6.2 was  released without any serious testing. IMHO.

Yes, I have exactly the same error since upgrading. From my point of view, I need to change the path, because the indicated path does not exist on my server. In addition I have a "General Exception" which shows the same wrong path in the exeption, and I get the following Message, regarding the error.

Message: System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'c:\windows\system32\inetsrv\Cache'.at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)at System.IO.Directory.InternalGetFileDirectoryNames(String path, String userPathOriginal, String searchPattern, Boolean includeFiles, Boolean includeDirs, SearchOption searchOption)at System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(String path, String searchPattern, SearchOption searchOption)at System.IO.Directory.GetFiles(String path)at DotNetNuke.Services.Cache.FileBasedCachingProvider.FBCachingProvider.PurgeCacheFiles(String Folder)at DotNetNuke.Services.Cache.FileBasedCachingProvider.FBCachingProvider.PurgeCache()at DotNetNuke.Services.Cache.PurgeCache.DoWork()

Now my question is, where can I change that path
