 A DNN site version 05.02.00(275)
When editing a HTML module the following happens:
* If I make the changes and save within 1 minute all is well.
* BUT if I stay in the editor for a longer time and click “Save” I end up at the editor again with the old content I had before my last changes. All my previous work is lost.
* I’m NOT logged out, can continue as normal.

The time limit of 1 minute seems to be a bit fuzzy. Sometimes I can wait up to 5 minutes and the Save process is successful.

Workflow is set to “Content Staging”. No difference if I check “Publish” checkbox or not.

If I set workflow to “Direct Publish” the problem seems to occur anyway.

I'm lost - bug, settings error or what?

Have you modified your session timeout value at all?

 Yes. In web.config
<sessionState timeout="120" />

And now the site is upgraded (05.03.01).

Still the same result.

However I must admit that before upgrade  I could squeeze up the time for editing up to 5 minutes.

The uprade has not changed much....
Working 1minute longer than 5 minutes and I end up at the editor again - with the same content as before I started edit.

Best regards
/Staffan

Some more information if anybody has a clue about this.

If I save within a short time, say 2 minutes, I get redirected (HTTP/1.1 302 Found) to the same page in view mode:
Location: http://<siteurl>/sstest/tabid/172/language/en-US/Default.aspx

If I stay some minutes longer I get redirected to the edit mode of the same page:
Location: http://<siteurl>/sstest/tabid/172/ctl/Edit/mid/584/language/en-US/Default.aspx

I can verify the redirects by looking at the http traffic in Fiddler.

Anybody??
