Hi,

I am trying to remove this items on my DotNetNuke website. I already tried the search engine and I found a few pages where they said you have to edit some css or aspx files. But I can't find those files or the specific lines where I have to edit them. Maybe because I am using the new version of DNN (05.02.02)?

Can you help me how to hide the search box, the You are here-Line and the display settings in the top right corner (font size and website width)?

The would be awesome!

Thanks to all!

You have to modifiy current skin you use on your portal.

By default, it's MinimalExtropy which is located in folder "Portals\_default\Skins\MinimalExtropy".

For example, you could edit "index.ascx" and remove following elements :
- "dnn:SEARCH" which correspond to search skin object
- "dnn:TEXT" which contains localized text "You are here"

I think you could remove control "dnn:STYLES" too and div which contains style functionnality.

Hope that helps.

I suggest using firebug or dev toolbar in IE (press F12) and use the pointer to find the source code defining the blank element.
