Hi all,

I had a working installation of dnn running under a test domain name. When it was time to move on to production the webhotel provider helped me to copy the whole installation in to a new folder on the same webserver where the new domain name would point to. I have changed the portalalias name in the database but now I can't access it. Any advise are apriciated!

Portal alias values are cached be sure that you have caused the application to restart since adding the alias.  This is best done by just resaving the web.config

Thanks for your reply mitch,

I tried that already, even copied the webconfig file from the host to my pc and then back, overwriting the existing one with the same one, but still does not work. I wonder if it has something to do with the portalAliasID, is that value important?
