Is there a way to configure the username to be an email address?

(1)  I'd need to use a regular expression or something so that the username has to be in email address format.

(2)  When a user changes their email address, the username would also have to change at the same time.

Thanks for your help!!

Not in the core - you'd need to look at something like Dynamic Registration from DataSprings (not sure if it can do this)

2) This is tricky - Usernames can't be changed easily on DNN. You might be stuck with your old email to log in...

Okay.  Thanks.

If I can't configure the username to be an email address, can I at least set parameters around what a user can choose (ex...at least 8 characters)??
