Hi All,

I have downloaded the community edition of DNN 05. and have set up the web application successfully. I'd like to know if the community edition provides the feedback and announcements module as an out of box feature. I don't see it in the available modules. Could someone point me to the right resource how i can either activate one if its there or if there is one available under open source.

Many thanks

DNN community edition comes with ~20 modules and a number of providers.

Besides HTML, modules do not get installed automatically. To install:

  • login as superuser ("host")
  • go to Extensions in HOST menu
  • call "install available extensions"
  • select the extensions to install and follow the wizard.

Hi,

I also have the communtiy edition and I am trying to "Install Avalaible Extensions" but that is not an option for me.

I am logged in as host but when I go to the Extensions section (in host) it is not an option for me.

What am I missing?

Thanks.

Rachael

Rachael, you need to be in "Edit" mode (top left corner of the control panel).
