OK, I have a little problem.  I have a fairly large site (10000s of pages) and I added about 150 pages today with a single parent page, then realized later on that each of those 150 pages needed a particular piece of content added to the bottom...

So, what would be ideal is a button like the "Display Module on all Pages" but instead have it be "Display Module on all SUB-pages".  OR, similarly, the feature "Add Existing Module" but to be able to do it in a controlled bulk setting.

Been thinking about ways I could do the in SQL, but haven't been really happy with what I have come up with.

Most likely, all 150 pages are sequential tabids (that could make the SQL simpler).

It looks like I could hard-code it into a custom skin, and use the "Copy Design to Descendents" but I don't really like that option for obvious reasons.

Not against looking on Snowcovered if someone has an idea that is already packaged...

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Tim,

Obviously as you have identified, there isn't a built in way of doing this now.

The SQL route is actually your "easiest" way, and can be done quite easily with information from the Tab and TabModules tables.

There's a module available from Snowcovered that lets you add a module to any page you specify.  (ModuleMaster 1.2...$19)

You can use page template. Make a page with just the content that needs to be repeated and export it(choose export content in options), then you can set the page template in page setting of each page(may be using sql...).

 Thanks all,

We ended up getting Module Master which made it pretty simple, plus it has some capabilities that we needed for other sections of the website.
